Pregnant Gypsy Rose Blanchard has shared a heartfelt moment as she revealed the name of her daughter during a festive baby shower over the weekend. The event took place in Lafayette, Louisiana, with her boyfriend Ken Urker by her side and about 25 close friends and family members in attendance. The couple chose the name Aurora Raina Urker for their little girl.
In an interview with People magazine, Blanchard expressed her joy, stating, “Ken and I were so excited to have a beautiful celebration that our daughter, Aurora Raina Urker, can look back on and see how our community welcomed and embraced her with love.”
The baby shower was held at LARC’s Acadian Village and featured a delightful menu curated by local caterer Rusty Noel, alongside delectable sweets crafted by Dipped’ by Ryder, including pink-and-white dipped Oreos, cake pops, and pretzels. Attendees also enjoyed cookies from Sugar Mama Designer Cookies, which included a creative touch with one cookie displaying baby Aurora’s 4D ultrasound image.
Dressed in a pretty pink gown featuring floral accents, Blanchard looked radiant on her special day, acknowledging the support and happiness she felt throughout the celebration. The reality star, known for her tumultuous past, confirmed her pregnancy in July after filing for divorce from her husband Ryan Anderson just three months prior.
Moreover, Blanchard and Urker have a complicated history, having been engaged in 2018 before their split in 2020. Their romance reignited in April, leading to this much-anticipated baby announcement. Recently, Gypsy Rose clarified that Ken Urker is indeed the father of her baby after undergoing a non-invasive prenatal paternity test, putting to rest any speculation regarding her estranged husband.
