Hot Pilates has turned up the intensity! The visionary behind Hot Pilates, Shannon Nadj, has now launched her first reformer Pilates studio adjacent to her popular heated mat Pilates facility in West Hollywood, California. With A-listers, including Lori Harvey, already drawn to this new fitness space, Nadj is excited to respond to the rising demand for reformer classes as Pilates continues to gain traction. “As we near our 10-year anniversary of Hot Pilates, our clients have been asking for reformer sessions. I’m thrilled to share my expertise in classical reformer Pilates,” she shared in an interview.
So, what does this new offering entail? “In our classes, we utilize traditional reformer machines to engage those small muscles that often go unnoticed,” she explains. Nadj elaborates, “Our approach will infuse athletic-style Pilates with traditional techniques and enthusiasm, focusing on strengthening the core, enhancing flexibility, and improving posture.”
Although the temperature won’t hit the typical 95°F associated with Hot Pilates, participants can still expect a challenge. “Each class lasts 50 minutes and isn’t heated, but rest assured, you’ll work up a sweat. I’ve designed the studio to serve as a sleek and modern wellness sanctuary. It’s an intimate setting to provide a personalized experience, welcoming everyone to make this space their own,” she adds.
While the two Pilates practices are unique, they complement each other beautifully. “The reformer ensures you perform exercises correctly and effectively. Engaging in 2-3 reformer classes weekly can enhance your mat workouts by applying the resistance from the springs,” she advises. “Integrating both forms is transformational. I’ve noticed significant changes in my body after just a few sessions,” Nadj reveals.
This exciting evolution in the Hot Pilates brand is set to inspire even more fitness enthusiasts to elevate their practice and discover new strengths. Get ready to experience the next level of Pilates with Shannon Nadj at the forefront.
