Frances Bean Cobain has embraced motherhood!
The talented daughter of celebrated rock icons Courtney Love and Kurt Cobain took to Instagram late Saturday evening to share the exciting news that she and her husband, Riley Hawk, the eldest son of famed skateboarder Tony Hawk, have welcomed a baby boy.
“9.17.2024. Ronin Walker Cobain Hawk 🩵,” she sweetly announced in her post.
Frances, 32, accompanied her heartfelt announcement with a collection of black-and-white photos showcasing the newborn snuggled in a cozy blanket, as well as intimate moments of her holding his tiny fingers. Another photo captured Riley, 31, adoringly gazing at their new son as he cradled him in his arms.
“Welcome to the world, my most beautiful son. We love you more than anything,” she expressed in the emotional caption.
The joyous news comes just months after Frances and Riley tied the knot on October 7, 2023, following their marriage license acquisition in San Diego. The couple went public with their relationship in February 2022, although they reportedly started dating in early 2021.
Tony Hawk, 56, couldn’t contain his excitement for his new grandchild and shared his delight in the comments section, affectionately referring to Ronin as his “favorite grandson.”
Frances’ marriage to Riley marks a fresh chapter in her life. She was previously married to musician Isaiah Silva from 2014 until their divorce in 2017, which led to a highly publicized legal battle over a valuable guitar once owned by her father, Kurt Cobain.
