In a candid conversation with The Times of London, the 50-year-old actress, known for her role in Hitch, opened up about how her partner’s appreciation makes her feel empowered. “I feel really sexy at times,” Mendes admitted, reflecting on the way Gosling, 43, looks at her. “At times, I’m like, oh my God.”
Mendes noted that her feelings of attractiveness are largely influenced by the affection and admiration she receives from Gosling. “That might not sit well with people, but so much of how I feel is a reflection of what he’s giving me,” she explained.
