Jonathon Johnson, who was the third-place contestant on Jenn Tran’s season of “The Bachelorette,” has recently hinted at a potential reunion with Tran following her heartbreaking split from Devin Strader. After Tran’s emotional appearance on the live season finale, where she confronted Strader, Johnson took to Instagram to praise Tran for her strength and resilience, calling her an “inspiration to women everywhere.”
Tran’s recent move to Los Angeles, where Johnson also lives, has fueled speculation about a possible reunion. Johnson expressed his excitement about having Tran in the same city and mentioned looking forward to creating new memories with her. In his Instagram post, Johnson seemed to imply that Tran is open to meeting up, and he indicated that they had discussed the possibility.
In a subtle dig at Strader, Johnson wrote, “I am so sorry that someone had the opportunity to take even a little of the positivity of this experience away from you!” This remark appeared to reflect his disapproval of how Strader handled the end of his engagement with Tran.
Tran and Strader, who got engaged during the final rose ceremony of Season 21, saw their relationship unravel quickly. Tran accused Strader of drastically changing his behavior after their engagement and eventually ending their relationship through a brief phone call. During the live finale, Tran openly criticized Strader, stating that his actions “completely invalidated” their entire relationship. She also accused him of disrespecting their time together by following another contestant, Maria Georgas, on Instagram right after their breakup.
Strader admitted to failing Tran and expressed regret for not meeting her expectations, though he insisted that his feelings for her had been genuine.
Despite the emotional turmoil from the breakup, Tran is now focusing on her future. She expressed enthusiasm about competing on “Dancing with the Stars,” excited for this new chapter in her life.
