Khloé Kardashian recently opened up about her experience with cheek filler following the surgical removal of a tumor from her face. In a heartfelt Snapchat post on October 14, 2024, the reality star shared her journey of addressing the indentation left after her surgery two years prior.
“The incredible doctor who operated on me removed a skin cancer tumor, resulting in an indentation on my cheek,” she disclosed. “After waiting nine months post-surgery, I finally decided to fill in the indentation.”
Kardashian took to Snapchat to share striking before-and-after photos that illustrated the transformation of her cheek. In her candid message, she highlighted the importance of patience and safety, noting, “We needed to ensure everything was medically sound before proceeding.”
The 40-year-old mother of two has been transparently documenting her journey since the removal of the tumor, which she first revealed in 2022. In a previous interaction with her followers, when questioned about a bandage on her face, she reassured them, “I had a tumor removed from my face, but I’m totally fine. Thank you for your concern.”
Kardashian has always advocated for health awareness, reminding her fans about the importance of monitoring their skin, especially given her own predisposition to melanoma. She has been proactive in encouraging regular screening for cancerous growths, emphasizing that anyone is at risk, no matter how diligent they are with sun protection.
Reflecting on her past health concerns, including a similar episode at the age of 19 involving the removal of a malignant mole, Kardashian expressed gratitude that most of her moles have been benign. She recalled the painful experience of having eight inches of skin excised and the relief that followed in learning that many of her subsequent removals had been less severe.
As she continues to share her journey, Kardashian’s openness about cosmetic procedures and health challenges serves as a reminder that even public figures face personal battles, whether in appearance or health.
