Kanye West is facing serious allegations from a former employee who describes his time working for the controversial rapper as a “nightmare.” In a lawsuit reported by Page Six, Murphy Aficionado claims he was subjected to a hostile work environment filled with antisemitic remarks and bizarre behavior, including an incident where West abruptly left a business meeting to engage in loud sexual activity with his wife, Bianca Censori, just next door.
Aficionado, who took on the role of project manager for West in October 2022, asserts that during one supposed work meeting at the luxurious Beverly Hills Waldorf Astoria the following month, he was greeted not by a focused rapper but rather by a shirtless West, who seemed out of breath. The situation escalated when Aficionado realized Censori was present in the room, topless and clearly having just been intimate with West.
Feeling deeply uncomfortable, Aficionado expressed his intention to return later, but he alleges that West insisted he stay, leading him to comply out of fear of the rapper’s reportedly volatile demeanor. After Censori retreated to an adjacent bedroom, Aficionado claims West left the conversation without warning, dashing to join his wife. Moments later, he was allegedly subjected to sounds of their intimate activities, described in court documents as “loud moaning and clapping.”
Adding to the bizarre atmosphere, Aficionado recounted that upon returning to the room, West was wearing a shirt emblazoned with a swastika, which he apparently asked Aficionado if he liked. Then, in an unexpected turn, West allegedly began showing Aficionado nude photos of his ex-wife, Kim Kardashian, further complicating the already awkward encounter.
This wasn’t a one-off occurrence; Aficionado asserts that a similar scene unfolded later that week, though this time, West was alleged to have engaged in sexual activities with a masseuse rather than Censori. The former employee described feelings of violation and dehumanization as a result of these experiences.
The lawsuit also delves into West’s alleged consistent antisemitic comments, with Aficionado stating that such tirades became a regular part of his work life. He alleges that West often expressed conspiratorial beliefs about Jews controlling the Kardashians and claimed that they were out to undermine him and seize his wealth. The rapper purportedly said, “The Jews are out to get me” and referenced his ex-wife’s supposed “Jewish masters.”
In his lawsuit, Aficionado highlights that West had instructed him to begin construction on Donda Academy without the necessary permits, a directive Aficionado opposed due to the potential legal consequences and risks to students. His concerns were met with dismissal, leading to his termination after he resisted West’s demands.
Claiming he was promised an hourly wage of $125 but never compensated for his nearly nine months of work—often reaching 70 hours a week—Aficionado is suing for discrimination, hostile work environment, retaliation, labor violations, and unpaid wages. Representatives for Kanye West have yet to comment on these serious allegations.
