Joe Jonas has taken to TikTok to call out actor Timothée Chalamet for allegedly ignoring his messages for an entire year. In a video shared on Sunday, the frontman of DNCE posted a screenshot of unanswered texts he had sent, which included a heartfelt “miss you” message alongside a selfie.
Jonas, who is 35, expressed his frustration over the lack of response from Chalamet, stating, “Last December, I sent Timothée a text from my friend’s phone hoping for a reply.” He added that a year later, he still hadn’t heard back. In a second slide featuring another selfie, he humorously stated, “Hope this helps,” emphasizing that he plans to keep his followers updated if Chalamet decides to respond by next December.
Fans of Jonas chimed in with their thoughts, with one user suggesting that Chalamet must be taking his time to craft the perfect response. “Good things can wait,” Jonas responded, acknowledging the playful banter among his followers.
Chalamet, who is dating Kylie Jenner, has had a busy year filled with various projects, including the upcoming film “Marty Supreme.” He has been spotted multiple times with Jenner, including outings at the Golden Globes and a vacation in the Bahamas.
Despite the apparent ghosting, Jonas appears to be taking the situation in stride, joking about the lack of communication. It will be interesting to see if Chalamet decides to finally respond to Jonas’ long-overdue texts.
