Joe Jonas and Sophie Turner have officially finalized their divorce.
As reported by Brightopis.com, the former couple reached a settlement on Tuesday, although the specifics of the agreement remain confidential. Details regarding their child custody arrangement for their two daughters, Willa, 3, and Delphine, 2, are also undisclosed at this time.
The divorce comes after a period of intense scrutiny and legal battles. Jonas, 35, initially filed for divorce from Turner, 28, in September 2023. The split quickly turned contentious, leading to mediation sessions to address the details of their custody arrangement. Turner had previously taken legal action to return their daughters to their “forever home” in the U.K., alleging that Jonas was withholding their passports. This lawsuit was eventually dropped once the couple reached an amicable co-parenting agreement.
In the aftermath of their divorce settlement, Jonas performed a heartfelt rendition of U2’s “I Still Haven’t Found What I’m Looking For” during a Jonas Brothers concert at the 3Arena in Dublin, Ireland. This performance was captured in a video shared on TikTok, reflecting the emotional period following his divorce.
Jonas and Turner first tied the knot in a private Las Vegas ceremony in May 2019, followed by a larger celebration with family and friends at Château de Tourreau in Sarrians, France, in June 2019. Despite their high-profile wedding, their marriage faced challenges, culminating in their separation last year.
Both Jonas and Turner have since moved on with new relationships. Turner is currently dating British aristocrat Peregrine Pearson. Meanwhile, Jonas has been linked to model Stormi Bree, although their relationship ended after five months in May. Jonas was recently spotted in Greece with actress Laila Abdallah, though their rumored romance has not been confirmed.
Jonas is channeling his emotions into his music, working on his upcoming album, “Music for People Who Believe in Love,” scheduled for release on October 18. In a recent interview on the “Therapuss” podcast, Jonas discussed how the breakup influenced his music, emphasizing that he isn’t targeting anyone specifically with his new work.
Throughout the separation, both Jonas and Turner have focused on moving forward with their lives and careers while navigating the complexities of co-parenting their young daughters.
