According to reports, Josh claimed he had proposed a global settlement to Christina, who subsequently disregarded his terms and proceeded to list their shared property.
The couple’s home hit the market earlier this month, igniting a flurry of accusations and legal disputes. Josh was allowed to occupy the home for a brief period when it was vacant, but he has since relocated, expressing concern about the rising costs of his living situation. He asserts that Christina, age 41, did not seek his consent before listing the home for sale on September 23 and failed to secure an appropriate court order.
Christina, however, is recognized as the sole owner of the property, known as Parker Branch, having purchased it back in 2021 before their marriage. In court filings, Josh argues that, during their marriage, the mortgage was paid down, thus entitling both parties to some benefit from the home’s appreciation. He warns that selling the property too hastily could negatively impact him, as property values in Tennessee continue on an upward trajectory.
Josh claimed he discovered their home was for sale through social media. When he confronted Christina about it, he alleges she told him that his objections were irrelevant. He referenced a prior agreement that allowed him to stay at the Franklin home while she maintained exclusive control over their other property in Newport Beach, California. This relocation was based on their supposed understanding, making his current living situation untenable.
Christina, meanwhile, is said to be enjoying the use of their shared residence and managing their entire marital assets. According to Josh, since their separation, Christina has effectively excluded him from their business dealings, which has impacted his income. He has concerns about Christina’s intention to sell the Tennessee property for a new dream home in Napa Valley.
The couple’s legal battles have escalated, with Christina publicly alleging that Josh has been attempting to exploit her and her children from previous relationships. In a series of removed social media posts, Christina accused Josh of staying in the Tennessee home without permission since July and making troubling requests regarding finances despite their brief marriage.
