In a surprising revelation, Brittany Furlan, the wife of rock legend Tommy Lee, disclosed that her husband only showers about once a week. During a recent appearance on Kaitlyn Bristowe’s “Off the Vine” podcast, Furlan offered a glimpse into their household dynamics, highlighting the contrasting views on hygiene between the couple.
Furlan, who first gained fame on Vine, described the Mötley Crüe drummer as being unexpectedly tidy. “My husband’s very neat, which people wouldn’t expect from someone who’s a musician,” she stated. Despite his infrequent showering habits, she assured listeners that Lee keeps himself organized and clean.
The former Vine star elaborated on Lee’s European upbringing, explaining that his minimal showering routine stems from his roots in Athens, Greece. “He said growing up that’s a thing in Europe—you don’t need to shower every day,” she shared. Instead of daily showers, the couple practices what Furlan called a “bird bath” routine when needed.
Interestingly, Furlan revealed that while Lee may forgo frequent showers, she prefers to bathe daily. “I shower every night,” she admitted, adding that she only washes her thick hair once a week. “I’m so overly clean that I’m probably stripping my body of all the oils it probably needs,” she joked.
The couple, who married in February 2019, also approaches their daily schedules differently. Furlan describes herself as a night owl, thriving creatively after dark, while Lee rises early each day, around 6:30 a.m. Despite their differing routines, they ensure to carve out time for each other, sharing dinner each night as a couple without distractions from phones—“Every day is like a little date night,” Furlan said.
Tommy Lee, previously wed to Pamela Anderson, shares two sons with her, while he and Furlan do not have children together. The couple continues to navigate their unique partnership, demonstrating that love can thrive even with different lifestyles.
