Evans, now 43, revealed that his eating habits largely depend on his acting commitments. “If the movie requires me to be in top shape, then my food choices will reflect that. But outside of those times, I’ve got to admit — it’s a lot of junk food,” he confessed. This candid admission came with a playful nod to his dog’s premium kibble line, Jinx, which boasts high-quality ingredients, including superfoods and probiotics. “Honestly, my diet probably isn’t as healthy as what’s in Jinx,” he remarked.
When it comes to staying active, Evans and Dodger are a dynamic duo. The actor emphasized the joy and energy Dodger brings to his daily workouts. “It’s about love and movement. Dodger is incredibly active and loves our long hikes and rollerblading. Despite being 10 years old, he’s still full of life! I expected him to slow down, but he keeps me on my toes with our hikes that extend beyond an hour every day,” Evans noted.
The bond that Evans shares with Dodger goes beyond physical activity. The actor expressed how his life has vastly improved since adopting his furry friend, stating, “Life with Dodger is infinitely better. He’s a remarkable dog, and his presence keeps me upbeat. Adopting him was a life-altering experience for me; it just felt right from the moment I saw him. From now on, I’m all about rescuing dogs.”
As a testament to his commitment to pet welfare, a portion of the proceeds from Jinx dog food sales at Walmart during August will support the USO Canine Program, showcasing Evans’ dedication to making a difference beyond his Hollywood stardom.
