Phaedra Parks Shares Discontent Filming ‘RHOA’ with Drew Sidora
Phaedra Parks didn’t hold back when discussing her recent experience on “The Real Housewives of Atlanta,” particularly her interactions with Drew Sidora. During an appearance on “Virtual Reali-Tea,” the iconic reality star revealed that the filming process with Sidora was less than enjoyable. “I had never worked with Drew before,” she stated. “I know her estranged husband Ralph Pittman well, but I can’t say working with her was pleasurable at all.”
Parks candidly referred to Sidora as “forgettable,” expressing her disappointment in the actress’s contribution to the show. “The goal of any ‘Housewife’ is to be unforgettable,” Parks elaborated. “Unfortunately, I didn’t witness many memorable moments from her.” This sentiment came after Parks rejoined the cast towards the end of Season 16, following Kenya Moore’s exit earlier in the summer of 2024.
Despite her critical remarks, Parks acknowledged that Sidora had one noteworthy moment towards the conclusion of filming. However, she insinuated that this incident did little to enhance Sidora’s reputation, calling her the “serial liar” of that season, aptly tying it back to her recent promotional work with Silk during the “Cereal Liar” pop-up event in New York City.
Phaedra’s longtime friend, Porsha Williams, who also made her return to “RHOA,” hinted at having her own clashes with Sidora during filming. Speaking on the negative aspects of working with Sidora, Parks elaborated, “She’s just tardy. She’s late for the party. And I only had the tail end of the show to gauge her since I missed the entire season.”
The tension is evidently mutual, as Sidora didn’t shy away from responding to Parks’ criticisms. In a since-deleted post on X, she remarked, “She filmed 2 days chile,” and alluded to Parks’ ongoing strained relationship with Kandi Burruss, stating, “Don’t make me call Kandi.”
For now, Parks is focused on her collaboration with Silk, promoting the benefits of almond milk over traditional dairy. “I had such a wonderful time hosting the ‘Cereal Liar’ event. We even conducted a lie detector test to prove almond milk’s popularity,” she stated enthusiastically.
While fans eagerly await the premiere of “The Real Housewives of Atlanta” Season 16, which promises a blend of returning favorites and fresh faces, Parks’ candid revelations about Sidora are bound to keep discussions lively in the reality TV sphere.
