Bethenny Frankel is stepping up to assist those impacted by the devastating wildfires ravaging California. The reality TV star, known for her role on The Real Housewives of New York City, recently announced via social media that her charity, BStrong, is mobilizing to provide critical support to victims who have lost their homes.
In a heartfelt TikTok video posted on Wednesday, the 54-year-old entrepreneur revealed that her warehouse in Chico, California, is stocked with essential supplies ready to be distributed. Frankel expressed her commitment to being a first responder in the ongoing crisis, stating, “BStrong California Wildfires update…” and sharing the profound need for immediate aid.
Team BStrong has teamed up with the Global Empowerment Mission to ensure resources reach those in dire need. Highlighting her organization’s history of support, Frankel noted, “We were the first responders on the Paradise California fires and we were still there two years later, so BStrong stays long after the headlines fade.” She emphasized that the focus is now on emergency response, illustrating the ongoing nature of the disaster.
Once the immediate chaos subsides, BStrong plans to distribute cash cards to families who have lost everything, aiming to help them regain a foothold during this challenging period. Frankel detailed, “We will start distributing money in the community and possibly helping with the rebuild like we’ve done in other communities.”
Frankel assured supporters that every penny of donations will go directly to aid efforts. “100% of donations to BStrong will go directly toward the effort of distributing the aid,” she stated confidently. Her experience in previous relief efforts, including responding to wildfires both in California and Australia, has equipped her team to handle the current crisis effectively.
In a separate TikTok post, she encouraged her followers to consider a “mental plan” for emergencies, reflecting on the tragic events unfolding in California. The effects of the wildfires have been devastating, with more than 70,000 residents in Los Angeles facing evacuation orders as the Pacific Palisades fire continues to threaten homes and lives.
Several celebrities have also been directly impacted by the flames. Notably, Spencer Pratt and Heidi Montag lost their home, as did Eugene Levy, along with actors Adam Brody and Leighton Meester, whose $6.5 million property was also destroyed. Additionally, Anna Faris’s home, acquired for $4.9 million in 2018, has been reduced to rubble.
As the destruction unfolds across various areas like Pacific Palisades, Altadena, and Pasadena, Frankel’s efforts reflect a larger commitment to community solidarity and resilience amid the devastation. Her proactive approach through BStrong serves as a beacon of hope for those grappling with loss during this overwhelming disaster.
