Lala Kent has shared the first glimpses of her newborn daughter, Sosa, just two weeks after her arrival. The reality star and “Vanderpump Rules” alum took to Instagram on September 17, 2024, to unveil her little bundle of joy.
In her heartfelt post, Kent, 34, expressed her overwhelming love for her second child. “On September 3rd, I welcomed my baby girl, Sosa Kent,” she wrote. “This moment has been a dream of mine, and at 10:13 pm, it all became real. My little dream baby has made her entrance into the world.”
The new mom also shared that both she and her eldest daughter, Ocean, aged 3, are head over heels for the infant. She went on to cherish the incredible feeling of motherhood, saying, “Sosa, you have no idea the joy you bring into my life. I feel blessed to be your mama. Welcome to our wonderfully crazy world; we are thrilled you’re here.”
Included in her post were intimate photographs: one of Sosa peacefully sleeping in a cozy blanket, and another of Ocean gently cradling her sister, planting a sweet kiss on her cheek.
Earlier in the month, Kent gave birth to Sosa through a sperm donor, a decision she previously discussed during an Amazon Live session, where she reflected on her journey post-split from her ex-fiancé, Randall Emmett. The couple welcomed Ocean in March 2021 but parted ways later that year.
In addressing her choice to use a sperm donor for her second pregnancy, Kent pointedly stated, “The best part about my baby daddy is that he does not exist.” She emphasized her desire for autonomy in her parenting journey, asserting that she is committed to having her children close to her without the complexities of co-parenting.
As a well-known reality star, Kent has made it clear that while she remains open to love, her priority is building a stable and nurturing environment for her children, declaring, “My child will never be up for grabs again.”
In total, Kent’s new chapter in motherhood seems filled with joy, and the pictures on her social media reflect the bliss of this life-changing moment as she embraces raising her two daughters.
