An insider reveals that Swift is thankful no one was injured and that both she and Kelce were away during the incident, which took place in the NFL star’s Leawood, Kansas, mansion on October 7. At the time, Kelce was playing a game against the New Orleans Saints while Swift cheered him on from Arrowhead Stadium in Kansas City.
The break-in reportedly occurred around 7:30 p.m., where thieves made off with approximately $20,000 in cash and damaged the back door of the property. Swift, who is 34, attracted attention at the stadium with her playful glitter freckles and shared a heartwarming moment with Brittany Mahomes, hugging her during the festivities. Following the Chiefs’ victory, Swift joined Kelce at an afterparty.
Interestingly, the burglary at Kelce’s home wasn’t an isolated event. Just two days prior, teammate Patrick Mahomes experienced a similar break-in at his Belton, Missouri, residence. Mahomes, who was out celebrating Kelce’s birthday at the time, later commented on the incident, describing it as “disappointing” during a press conference.
