Ayo Edebiri, who has been a longtime admirer of Loewe, has just been unveiled as the face of the brand’s Resort 2025 campaign. This comes as no surprise, especially after her stunning appearance at the Time100 Next Gala in October 2023, where Edebiri effortlessly wore an iconic Loewe dress adorned with balloons. Over the past year, the star of The Bear has turned to the Spanish fashion house for various high-profile events, including the Met Gala, Wimbledon, the BoF 500 Gala, and multiple street style outings.
The highly anticipated campaign, which premiered on October 22, features Edebiri in a striking photoshoot captured by the renowned German fashion photographer Juergen Teller. The essence of the shoot is marked by an energizing backdrop of a fashion-forward rugby game, with athletes in bold red, green, and blue uniforms, but Edebiri commands attention in a sleek black floor-length gown. Her dress, with a twisted feather-embellished bodice and a daring knee-high slit, perfectly encapsulates modern sophistication.
Adding a playful twist to her elegant look, Edebiri paired the gown with Loewe’s standout “Shaggy Rug Stilettos” in an eye-catching bright orange. Remarkably, she had previously sported a similar quirky pair in burgundy during a feature with The Sunday Times Style in January 2024.
