Lana Del Rey has officially tied the knot!
The pop sensation known for hits like “Summertime Sadness” has married Jeremy Dufrene, an alligator tour guide, just weeks after they were first linked romantically in late August.
The couple exchanged vows in a private ceremony surrounded by family and friends in Des Allemandes, Louisiana. Photos from the event show Del Rey, whose real name is Elizabeth Woolridge Grant, walking down the aisle in a stunning flowing white gown, escorted by her father, Robert Grant.
Dufrene complemented her look in a dark suit with a vest and brown leather shoes, fitting for the outdoor celebration.
Earlier that month, the couple was seen together at a friend’s wedding, marking one of their public appearances as a pair. They were first speculated to be dating following a TikTok clip showing them holding hands while Del Rey was performing at the Reading Festival in England.
Despite the swirling rumors, she briefly dismissed the speculation in the comments section of an August Instagram post. However, just a week later, the couple was photographed hand in hand again in New York City, confirming their relationship.
After only a month of dating, Del Rey and Dufrene took the significant step of obtaining a marriage license around September 23, which authorities confirmed just days later.
The ceremony took place near the Bayous des Allemands, where Dufrene operates his boat tours outside New Orleans. It’s interesting to note that despite their very different professions—Del Rey being a renowned pop singer and Dufrene a tour guide—they have known each other for years, even sharing a Facebook photo together from 2019.
Before her relationship with Dufrene, Del Rey had been rumored to be engaged to Clayton Johnson in December 2020 and was briefly engaged to Evan Winiker earlier in 2023 before finding herself single again by that fall.
While she had hoped for lasting love, Del Rey clarified in a recent interview that she was not currently in a romantic relationship, stating she had experienced love but was not in love at present.
